Ella Raines was the first star of the studios, signed for a million dollars becoming an overnight sensation.

Her husband was a war hero fighter pilot a bit like Tom Cruise.

This series of prints are based on the Modelling images which sent the studio heads into a frenzy to sign her up, original notes, marks and crops all evident in the images.
